A lift table is an ergonomic lifting device that is used in industries such as manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, distribution, sheet feeing, and printing.

A Lift table, sometimes called a scissor lift, can be used to raise, lower, tilt, stack, convey, or transfer heavy workloads, such as pallets, containers, or other heavy objects, between numerous elevations.

Lift tables were intended to improve worker productivity while reducing the potential for worker injuries. These ergonomic lifts were designed to eliminate unnecessary bending, stretching and lifting on employees by bringing work to the worker. This is a much easier, safer and more productive way to accomplish your lifting needs.

A tilt table is a specific form of lift table that is ergonomically engineered to lift and tilt the load being handled. This lift and tilt motion gives the worker easy ergonomic access inside for loading and unloading purposes.

  • Advantages

Lift and tilt tables help workers avoid unnecessary bending, stretching, and lifting. These ergonomic lifts allow the worker to adjust the level of the load on the lift table resulting in increases in production and minimizing worker fatigue, injuries, and product damage. Loading and unloading times can be greatly reduced as well as product damage.

    Lift Tables
    • Used to position materials so operators do not have to lift excessive loads, lift repetitively, or bend to do their jobs.
    • Can include variations to facilitate horizontal movement.
    • Tilting devices can be added to position loads both vertically and angularly
    • Lift tables can be adapted to any plant situation by choosing from different power options. For example, lifts can be powered with electric or air-powered hydraulic pump units, pneumatic lift systems or full mechanical lift systems.
    • Lift tables can be installed in any number of ways to meet specific requirements. Generally, they will be surface mounted or pit mounted. They can be either foxed in position or moveable in either case.
    Tilt Tables
    • Portable tilters allow containers to be picked up, moved into position, and tilted for easy access.
    • Stationary tilters allow containers to be directly placed on a Z by hand pallet trucks or fork trucks.
    • There are a wide range of designs and styles to fit a variety of needs.
